Exposed By Raven St. Pierre
EXPOSED
AUTHOR: Raven St. Pierre
Book Blurb:
Walking away seemed like her only option.
Letting go was the one thing he couldn’t do.
Sam and AJ have spent the last five years trying to get over their painful breakup. Both have moved on, but neither has fully healed from the wounds of the past. When avoiding one another becomes impossible, fate may once again force them to confront their feelings – feelings they thought no longer existed.
Will they continue to fight against gravity’s pull? Or will their worlds once again collide in the final installment of the Free Falling Series?
Guys! I loved this book so much I thought it deserved to be my first blog post. The writing is classic Raven St. Pierre. I have read most of her books in the past and was very excited when I stumbled across the first in the series, Gravity. I’ll admit I didn’t know what to expect in this book. I thought it would be a good standalone to keep me entertained through hurricane Irma, but low and behold I got caught up in this story. I ended up downloading the next book Secrets over my poor stressed out data plan. Thank you, AT&T gods! (No extra charges were incurred due to my overage…)

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: Exposed! This is the final book in the series. And needless to say,
I needed this book. After having a two-month long book hangover, I knew this
was going to be a one sitting read. I could not
put this book down. I’ll admit I was upset with Samantha, the heroine, at the beginning
of the book. She is a stubborn girl and I could sort of understand why she did
what she did. But dang! Don’t question this man’s love. AJ did everything in
his power to prove his devotion. But some women are like that, stubborn. I
still liked her character though. Raven made this character real and for the
most part understandable (to me anyway.)
I’m glad they got their HEA. Their road was not easy.
But here is my ONE qualm with this book! (SPOILER ALERT!
SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!)
Did I say spoiler alert? You have been warned. J
My one issue which I will call a cop out on the author’s
part was how she made the two partners AJ and Samantha were dating “bad guys.” To
make you feel better that they got back together and left their respective
lovers. I would’ve understood the heartbreak of leaving a good guy for the one
you truly love. But WHATEV’S! That did not stop me from loving the book. I just
had to get that out there since I kept thinking about it when I was reading it.
Okay, I’m back now. All in all, I loved this book and I
highly recommend it. The series is well worth it. You will laugh, cry (or so
other people tell me. No tears over here, ahem. Cough) You are
guaranteed to feel all the emotions. In the first chapter of Exposed I felt my
heart pounding. I literally had to stop and drink some tea… #Don’tJudgeMe
I’m looking forward to the little novella following this: Today Tomorrow. Always.
Tata for now! Let me know your thoughts on my first post.
Recommendations and all that fancy stuff. I promise I take constructive
criticism very well. ;)
